Kimmy O Shimmy is an award winning dance performer and instructor. Kimmy O won the championship title of the Malaysian National Aerobics competition at the age of 23. In 2005 she acquired a love for belly dance while residing in Houston, Texas after she witness a belly dance performance in a local restaurant. Kimmy O went on to study belly dance by attending multiple classes and workshops with internationally acclaimed dance artists and instructors including Fifi Abdul, Randa Kamel, Dina, Jim Boz, Zoe Jakes, Sa’diyya, Valerick Molinary, Jessica Cruz, Cynthia, Tamara, and many others.
Kimmy O has been recognized for her award winning choreography and unique double veil dance techniques. Her graceful manner and professional style are well suited for family entertainment. Her favorite audience is often the children who are mesmerized, artists who are inspired…and by each of us who are moved by her power, grace and talent! There is never a shortage of smiles when Kimmy O Shimmy dances!
Kimmy O Shimmy is an accomplished dance instructor and is currently leading two professional troupes in the greater Grand Rapids Michigan area.
