Lucinda Nour

Cindy, a born native of Muskegon Mi. began her journey in Bellydance during the year 2005 at a Goddess Workout class and immediately fell in love with the music, the movements and the sisterhood. To further her education, she began taking workshops with world known dancers Amaya (Maria Amaya of Albuquerque NM), Suhaila Salimpour, Zoe Jakes, Yasmina Ramsey, Garnett Kepler, Tarik Sultan, Jessika Cruz, Sonya Blacker, Hosam and Serena Ramsey and many others.

She helped a sister in dance develop “Dance for Dogs”, an annual charity Bellydance show to benefit Muskegon’s local animal shelter which continues as of today.

She has participated in the international charity event, “Shimmy Mob” and has performed at many festivals, retirement parties, birthday parties, museums, nursing homes and many other events bringing joy, education and wonderment to the public.

She has traveled abroad to attend Yasmina Ramzy’s Planet Egypt tour in 2017 to take workshops, attend live shows and explore the culture to expand on her knowledge of Bellydance.

She was a member of Delkash Dance Troupe in Grand Rapids Mi for 8 years and she has now embarked in a duet with Kimmy O’Shimmy with the desire to continue to entertain, educate and share the world of Bellydance.
